Following on from the recent summer excitement in East London, we ran an Introduction to Coaching Wallball Course at our Community Court in Stratford. Five eager multi-skill coaches spent the morning learning Wallball and coaching skills and are now ready to introduce Wallball into local Schools.

“I really enjoyed today’s session; useful resources and lots of ideas! Thank you UK Wallball.”

Bisi, Extended Schools Manager, Gallions Primary School.

“It was an amazing experience. The delivery of the course was very easy to follow, it was very well planned with simple demos. I’m looking forward to delivering wallball and I’m sure everyone will benefit from wallball as I feel it will improve health and wellbeing.”

Shareen, Community Health Newham, East London NHS Trust

The session involved; Wallball rules & Game Play, Coaching Tools, Session & Tournament Planning & Delivering a Planned Session. Coaches shared their ideas and experiences and were given an opportunity to coach their own planned Wallball session. There is a wealth of knowledge amongst the coaches and it was great to be able to share and build upon this. The coaches will now be taking their newly acquired Wallball skills into schools in preparation for our first East London School’s tournament which takes place in November.
