The Great Britain team plus several adult social players are all set to head over to the World Handball Championships next week.

The event, which takes place in Dublin, Ireland, is set to be the biggest wallball event the world has ever seen with over 2000 players descending on the purpose built CityWest arena for the 10 day competition.  The event will also play host to over 3000 spectators daily – tickets can  bought through the link below.

Players from the UK will be competing in the 4-Wall grades, the 1-Wall grades, the Ashes and the Federation Cup.

We’ll keep you updated with how everyone gets on through our twitter feed.

GB’s Captain, Daniel Grant said:  “We can’t wait until next week; the tournament is going to be just phenomenal.  We’ve never really played 4-wall before but I think our guys will have a great time in that.  We’re hoping for a couple of excellent individual results in the singles and hopefully even a World Title. This year we’re lucky enough to enter 3 Federation Cup teams: a Men’s A & B Team and the Women’s Team.  We’re aiming for the two A teams finish at least 5th.
Of course, a hugely important event of the championship will be when we spank Australia in the Ashes!”
