UCL Volunteers Qualify as Coaches

Last night 9 UCL Volunteers took the ‘Introduction to Coaching’ course. They enthusiastically took to the courts at Westway, learnt the ropes and had a tremendous game or two. To close proceedings they refereed the final and third place playoff of the internal Westway Club Championship.

The volunteers from University College London – and many who are members of the UCL Fives Club, will run lessons and sessions at UCL Academy, Kentish Town and the Westway.

The introduction to coaching course is a short programme designed for volunteers and teachers to get up to standard where they can run informal sessions and dispense basic coaching tips. The course is open to anyone and get in touch with us if you’d like to know more.
