GB Wallball captain Kerry White, along with Marianne Rees and Emmalina Thompsell, delivered a development session for the girls at Eastbourne College, who have already put wallball walls up on the side of their gym and have been training hard for the upcoming tournaments this year.
This move continues wallball’s rapid spread out of inner-city London, and with the Eastbourne College courts costing less than 90 pounds, adds an incredibly cost-effective sports option. With the competition and cross-training benefits obvious to the onsite sports professionals, and a wealth of talented athletes, the school is expected to contribute significantly to the English junior teams competing at home and abroad over the coming months and years.
